Singapore has long held a reputation for being a culinary crossroad and a gourmet's delight. Here three major races (Chinese, Malay and Indian) have met and mingled; here too traditional culinary styles from each group have influenced one another - often with unexpected and mouth-watering results! Sue Lim spent 10 years in Singapore and Brunei exploring these varied cuisines, and then 17 years catering for the children in her international language school - many of whom came from South East Asia. Come to a Singapore Supper at blue-ginger and you can share in her enjoyment and enthusiasm of Singapore Cuisine. Suppers are served in the blue-ginger gallery so you can browse the arts and crafts and do some shopping before, during or after the buffet.


Singapore buffet suppers are held in the blue-ginger gallery. Guests are welcome from 7.30pm for starters and nibbles and the main buffet is served at 8.00pm. Please bring your own drinks - we'll supply the bottle openers and corkscrew.

Children’s author and illustrator Jackie Morris will begin the evening by reading from her newly published book, The Quiet Music of Gently Falling Snow. SassCappella will do a musical performance in the interval between main course and dessert. Evening includes a raffle with all proceeds going to Acorn Children's Hospice.



Sunday October 16 (during Big Draw)

£25 per person. As the Big Draw pics will be up on the walls everyone at the supper will be invited to place a bid, again for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
